Zacatecas Logo Sketches

ONE

In this set I wanted to incorporate Mexican architecture and landscapes.

TWO

On these I wanted to focus on the people and culture.

THREE

The shape of the state is a window to the landscape and architecture.

FRAMES

These are some of the frames I used and may still use.
I am still not done with the sketches.
The one I really want to sketch is the fancy octagon.
I found it in an architectural piece as the window.
I thought it was cute.

I'm definitely digging all of your ideas, but your first set stands out to me the most. They look to me that they are almost in their completed stage. You could probably even work right off your sketches this way.

Overall, your combination logo is working great. I love how it's very fun, energetic and, from the looks of it, very colorful as well. It pretty much captures what you would expect from your location.

Now, I can see how all of the logos are tied together with the use of multiple elements. Do you really need that many to make the logos work in an ensemble? See, you have the sun in every logo, which I think is enough, but then you try to add more and do the same with those cacti and the landscapes. The cacti don't bother me that much, they definitely are a lovely addition, but perhaps you might want to consider adding a bit more variation to them or the logo might just get a bit busy.

Overall, very good work! I'm looking forward to seeing these completed.

I agree with everyone else... set 1 is the most thought out and visually interesting. although your type is a bit too literal and "gimicky". im wondering if you can explore alternative solution that would make it less kitchy. I can explain more on monday.

    overall - great work!

I agree with everybody... your first set is the most successful one. My only advice would be that you might wanna make it a little more simplified and have less details since this is only going to be the logo. And perhaps you want to experiment with the type also.

    Great work,
